Project summary
The objective of this research is to determine contributing factors to wrong way driving on freeways, and to suggest promising, cost conscious means to reduce this driving error and related crashes.

Expected outcome
A list of potential countermeasures and general application guide will be developed based on the results from the literature review, crash analysis, survey and interviews with other state DOTs' enforcement officers, and other stakeholders.
