Opportunities for Involvement

The College of Engineering invites individuals, corporations and organizations to participate and invest in the Nuclear Power Generation Systems Minor. Whether through guest lectures, internship opportunities or funding for laboratory equipment, student field trips, your support will provide students and faculty with vital resources that advance the program as well as the academic experience.

Support the nuclear power generation systems program through:

  • On-site training through 10-week summer internships
  • Co-op positions
  • Guest lecturers
  • Annual tuition support 
  • Student travel expenses
  • Faculty continuing education
  • Graduate teaching assistantships 
  • In-kind support: Plant system descriptions and schematics, training manuals, digital training materials, operating procedures, simulator time, old simulators, mock-up piping system, mock-up electrical system, lab equipment, radiacs and dosimeters, anti-C clothing, risk analysis software, system safety software

Industry involvement and investment is the key to providing an educational experience that prepares Nuclear Power Generation Systems graduates to make significant contributions to the nuclear power industry. Your support, whether monetary or in-kind, will receive gift recognition from the Auburn University Foundation and can be tax deductible.
