Internship and Co-Op Opportunities

Industry sponsors of the program will make a number of paid internships and co-op opportunities available for nuclear power generation systems minor participants. Internships and co-ops are opportunities to become immersed in the field, receive invaluable on-the-job training and experience mentorship by industry professionals.

Tuition-Assistance Scholarships

Tuition-assistance scholarships are available to high-performing participants, based on annual funding support. Academic scholarships are based on GPA, professor recommendations and a personal commitment to the nuclear power generation industry. 

Hiring Incentives

Hiring incentives for engineers who have successfully completed the nuclear power generation systems minor may range from signing bonuses to increased starting pay, depending on specific corporate policies. There will continue to be a high demand for all types of engineers in the nuclear power industry throughout the next five years.
