Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE)

Welcome to the home of the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program, brought to you by the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department in the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at Auburn University. This program is a summertime research initiative where undergraduates from Auburn University and other universities all across the country come to Auburn to work under an ECE faculty over the summer.

The program generally runs for 10 weeks, starting around the middle of May and ending with July. Each participant is paired with a faculty member who researches an area of interest to the student (where possible). Students are given a research project to develop and at the end of the program, all students will take part in a poster presentation where cash prizes go to the best posters. Every student is provided a stipend over the program and students external to the program will be provided on-campus housing.
