B.S. Education, Auburn University, 1987

Kathy is responsible for directing and managing the Engineering Academic Support Program within the College of Engineering to include academic coaching, the tutorial center, and other aspects of academic support for engineering students.
About Kathy:
Kathy and her four children and husband, John, are fortunate to have traveled many parts of the world during her husband’s 20+ year career as an Intelligence Officer in the US. Navy. After his retirement and final deployment to Iraq, Kathy, John and the children returned to Auburn in 2010 and both began their second careers. Kathy moved away from teaching in public education to working with college students who could benefit from additional academic support, first in the AU Athletic Department and, since April 2018, with the College of Engineering.
Fun Fact:
Kathy once managed the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf National Testing System in Washington, D.C., the national board certification entity for Sign Language Interpreters in the United States. Though she no longer interprets professionally, she remains devoted to the Deaf community and issues surrounding appropriate access for people in the Deaf and hard-of-hearing communities.
