Construction Stormwater Management

This workshop will introduce participants to the fundamentals of erosion and sediment control for active construction projects in Alabama. Attendees will gain a fundamental understanding of state regulations, environmental expectations, and methods to develop, maintain, and inspect a stormwater pollution prevention plan. This workshop is designed for professionals new to stormwater management, or those looking for updates on recent changes to state regulations. The workshop will be interactive, and participants will be expected to actively engage during the workshop to receive PDHs. This workshop should be of interest to engineers, designers, inspectors, regulators, and the public who are engaged in or interested in learning more about the principles involved in the management of stormwater on construction sites.

Unit 3: Developing and Managing a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan
Unit 4: Best Practices for Installing Erosion and Sediment Controls

 

The cost of the workshop is $175.00. Please register at www.eng.auburn.edu/atap. The registration fee
includes handout materials, break refreshments, lunch, and a certificate of participation. Participants
completing this workshop will receive 0.60 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), 6.0 Professional
Development Hours (PDHs). Certificates of participation will be issued on the day of the event. Thank you
