Joshua HaleWhen Joshua Hale searched for colleges to pursue a degree in industrial and systems engineering he chose Auburn because it was close to home and offered an excellent environment to expand his cultural horizons and gain engineering know-how. "Auburn best exemplified the qualities that I was looking for," says Hale.

Hale enjoys applying his mathematical skills to real-life applications, an opportunity offered to him through the industrial and systems engineering program at Auburn. "I am confident in Auburn Engineering and that my experience here will prepare me for my future," he says.

This preparation has shown through substantially in Hale's work in team environments. Because of the classes and projects that required him to work on a team and learn key strategies for group success, Hale was offered an internship with Pratt and Whitney Rockedyne in Huntsville, Ala.

Hale's best memory of Auburn so far has been his induction into the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. He feels honored to be a part of such a prestigious group.
