Welcome to Online Help for PerRoad Version 4.3

PerRoad is a mechanistic-based procedure for the design of flexible long-life or perpetual pavement structures.  The procedure was developed at the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) at Auburn University (AU) in conjunction with the Asphalt Pavement Alliance (APA), the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) and State Asphalt Pavement Associations (SAPAs) through the Pavement Economics Committee.  The procedure uses layered-elastic theory combined with Monte Carlo simulation to execute both perpetual and conventional mechanistic-empirical pavement design.  There are three major categories of information to consider when developing a design and should generally be followed in order.  Select a category below to learn more.

1: Pavement Structure

2: Traffic Data
