MSTM is a package for calculating the electromagnetic scattering and absorption properties of systems of spheres.
Initial release date: 15 January 2011. Check back often for revisions and bug fixes. I’ll document them as they occur.
Revision 1.2: 21 February 2011. The manual was expanded, and the code underwent relatively minor alteration in response user suggestions and bugs.
Revision 2.1: April 2011. Optical activity (different left and right hand refractive indices) is now supported. Additional menu items were added.
Revision 2.2: November 2011. Problems with excessive memory usage were addressed, and a new algorithm for solving the interaction equations was adopted.
The entire package – codes, documentation, input files, and other related items – can be downloaded here.
You might want to read the manual before doing anything else.
