Transfer Students

Approximately one-third of our undergraduates transfer to Auburn from both 2 year and 4 year institutions and our experience shows that transfer students are equally as successful as students who begin their college career at Auburn.

Engineering Student Services, located in 1210 Shelby Center, is the support office for undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Engineering. Through this office, all pre-engineering advising is handled for both first time freshmen and incoming transfer students. We provide a wide range of services, including tutorials in mathematics, science, and many required engineering courses. Transfer credit evaluations, as well as advisement and counseling for the prospective transfer student are also available.

If you are a prospective transfer student interested in attending Auburn University, please keep in mind:

  • When you apply early, you have a better chance of being accepted and for registering for the classes you need.
  • Make sure that you meet the admissions requirements. To view Auburn University admissions requirements click here AU Icon.
  • You must provide Engineering Student Services with a transfer plan of study.
  • Remember to request your final transcript from your previous institutions. Delays in receipt of this completed paperwork can limit your ability to register for classes.
