Purpose:

The Council Of Engineering Graduate Students was formed in 2012 as a volunteer student organization with the mission to promote the development and enrichment of the graduate student experience within the college.

Projects, outreach, competitions, conferences, etc.:

Our main event is the Graduate Engineering Research Showcase which is a college-wide competition held every fall semester. It allows graduate students to showcase their research to a broad audience while providing them with the opportunity to improve their presentation/communication skills.

We also host ice cream socials, tailgates, the Finish in Five competition, as well as Lab Tours throughout the different lab/research facilities in the College of Engineering.
