"Delivering Student-Centered Engineering Education"

Just under two days to the start of ASEE-SE 2020 -- and the sunshine has come out! Daytime temperatures are forecast to gradually warm into the high 60's during the conference. We wish safe travel to all attendees!

ASEE-SE 2020 attendees can use the Sched app to enhance their experience at the meeting.  Simply install the Sched app for Apple or Android devices, and search for the event named ASEE-SE 2020. On a computer, you can access it at aseese2020.sched.com. Here is the conference program booklet (28 February printing)

COVID-19 (coronavirus) remains in the news. The Alabama Department of Public Health began assessing and monitoring risks in January -- to date, NO cases have been confirmed in the state. Additionally, Auburn University suspended travel to those parts of the world where outbreaks are severe, and recently recalled all study-abroad students. ASEE-SE officers and 2020 site organizers are following developments and studying precautionary measures. Please visit this site regularly for developments. Last updated: 5 March 2020, 7 pm Central Time.

Attendees who pre-registered for the Saturday (7 March) K-12 teacher workshops may pick up their ASEE-SE conference materials on Saturday morning at the registration desk, Level 1 (Atrium), of the Brown-Kopel Engineering Student Achievement Center. The ASEE-SE 2020 registration desk will open Sunday at 11:30 a.m. for regular conference attendees.

We are very excited that the Monday morning keynote speaker is Prof. Bonnie Ferri , Georgia Tech's Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Faculty Development. Additionally, the Monday awards banquet featured guest is Dr. Larry Monroe , a member of the Alabama Engineering Hall of Fame, recognized for his leadership, expertise, innovation, and commitment to protecting and conserving natural resources in the electric power industry.
