Overview
Auburn University's world-class scientists in the College of Engineering have
led the way in the development of sophisticated hardware research for computers.
Within the Peaks of Excellence initiative, hardware and software researchers are
partnered in the Institute for Reconfigureable Smart Components. These engineers
are creating a more reliable, intelligent, adaptable, lower-cost, and software-driven
electronic system for the consumer.
