TIGERs Camp

Teams and Individuals Guided by Engineering Resources (TIGERs) Camps are residential summer programs held annually at Auburn University. It is designed to expose students in grades 8-11 to the world of engineering. The camp program consists of multiple sessions each focusing on an engineering discipline. The basic objective of wireless engineering sessions is to introduce middle and high school students to wireless engineering opportunities. Students participating in the camp are introduced to frequency spectrums, walkie-talkie concepts, frequency channels and licensing, GPS, software defined radios, cooperative robotics, intelligent vehicle system, satellites, wireless sensors and space-based wireless applications.
