Auburn’s wireless education and research center (WEREC)’s vision is to be a preeminent nationally and internationally recognized institution of learning. In keeping with the goals of Auburn University, a land-grant university in Alabama, WEREC will be widely recognized for the quality of its undergraduate, graduate and professional educational programs and the effectiveness of its research and outreach programs.
Mission
The mission of the Wireless Engineering Research and Education Center is to develop and maintain a wireless engineering curriculum and research program that will drive Auburn University to excel in the theoretical and practical aspects of wireless technologies that are dramatically changing the world we live in and the way humans and machines communicate.
