National Textile Center
The National Textile Center (NTC) is a consortium of eight universities that
include Auburn University, Clemson University, Georgia Institute of Technology, North Carolina State University, UMass - Dartmouth, Philadelphia University,
Cornell University, and the University of California - Davis.
Funded annually by the Department of Commerce at $10 million, the program is entering its fourteenth year. Auburn's effort includes the Departments of Polymer and Fiber Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, and Consumer Affairs.
