Wireless Engineering Program Educational Objectives

The expected career and professional accomplishments of graduates of the Auburn University Bachelor of Wireless Engineering degree Program (the "BWE Program"), following graduation from the program, are summarized in the following Program Educational Objectives (PEOs).

  1.  Graduates of the BWE Program, having been provided a basic foundation in wireless engineering and either electrical engineering, software engineering, or communication networks, will be able to demonstrate the technical proficiency needed for the professional practice of engineering in the wireless telecommunications industry.
  2. Graduates of the BWE Program will be able to communicate their ideas effectively within the technical community and to the general public.
  3. Graduates of the BWE Program will have the basis for, an appreciation of, and enthusiasm for, lifelong scientific inquiry, learning and creativity.
  4. Graduates of the BWE Program will be able to take their places in society as responsible citizens, with an appreciation of and understanding for the need to maintain the highest ethical standards in their personal and professional lives.
