Building upon a small core of required courses enables the student to design a program to his or her interests. Core courses focus on polymer/fiber structure and properties, fabric structures and properties, research methods, coloration and finishing, advances in polymer/fiber composites, and thesis and research.
Suggested minor or supporting course areas include materials engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, chemistry, economics, statistics, marketing and communications.
