Building upon a core of required courses enables the student to design a program to his or her interests. Core courses focus on polymer/fiber structure and properties, mechanics of fibrous assemblies, coloration, advances in polymer/fiber composites, and research and thesis.
Suggested minor or supporting course areas include chemical engineering, materials engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, and computer science.
