Master of Science in Polymer and Fiber Engineering
Building upon a small core of required courses enables the student to design
a program to his or her interests. Core courses focus on polymer/fiber structure
and properties, fabric structures and properties, research methods, coloration
and finishing, advances in polymer/fiber composites, and thesis and research.
Suggested minor or supporting course areas include materials engineering, computer
science, mechanical engineering, chemistry, economics, statistics, marketing and
communications.
Assistantships are awarded by individual faculty from their sponsored research
