Accreditation

Effective fall, 2006, the Department of Polymer and Fiber Engineering administers two degrees.  The fiber engineering degree is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). The new polymer and fiber engineering degree will be evaluated by ABET.

1. Degree Title

Beginning fall, 2006, the title of the degree will be Bachelor of Polymer and Fiber Engineering ^[1], abbreviated B. Polymer and Fiber Engineering

2. Program Mode

The Bachelor of Polymer and Fiber Engineering will be offered full-time during the day at the Auburn University campus in Auburn, AL. Students have the ability to co-op should they choose.
