Spring Awards 2005

Dr. Gisela Buschle-Diller, Associate Professor, receives a William F. Walker Merit Teaching Award for Excellence from Dr. Walker at the Dean's Award Reception. The Walker teaching awards were endowed by Mr. & Mrs. Fred Birdsong, Sr. and are chosen from college-wide nominations. Three professors received Walker merit awards for 2005. Dr. Buschle-Diller teaches in the textile chemistry area.

Outstanding Alumnus 2004, David Major, TM 1972, Director of Manufacturing with Frontier Yarns, Inc., in Wetumpka, Ala., receives his award from Dean Benefield.

Katie Hudson, Department of Textile Engineering Outstanding Student for 2004-2005, receives her award from Dean Benefield at the Dean's Award Reception March 18, 2005.
