The department maintains a general purpose PC Laboratory with state of the art
computers linked to several laser printers. Various software programs are available
for engineering computation, programming, word processing and presentation preparation.
Popular software such as Microsoft Office Professional, MathCAD, AutoCAD, Mathlab, Mathematica, Working Model, Algor, Adobe Illustrator, Fortran 77, Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, Pine (e-mail), Telnet and FTP are available. This laboratory is linked to the Internet for connecting to other computers across campus, and for world wide web and e-mail applications. In addition, the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering has several Sun Workstations and PC laboratories available to all students.
