Manufacturing Engineering for Automotive Sector
The purpose of MEAS is to enhance automotive education and to expand the number and the quality of automotive engineers from Auburn University to respond the growing professional needs of the automotive community and to contribute to the economic future throughout the southern U.S. This will be accomplished by offering a minor baccalaureate program and a graduate certificate program built around a distinctive curriculum which focuses on automotive engineering from a systems perspective and it also includes industry specific, progressive and innovative research studies in next generation vehicle technology at undergraduate and graduate level. MEAS promotes scientific and technological knowledge, ethical judgment and global awareness in order to discover value-enhancing long term mutual benefits of both the automotive industry and the students.
