Scholarships

The Industrial and Systems Engineering department offers many scholarships to its students. Most of the awards are for students already in our program with, on average, a 3.30 GPA or higher.
Although many of the awards are for upperclassmen, there are a few granted to incoming freshmen:

NSF Automotive Scholarship is awarded to graduate or undergraduate in Industrial & Systems Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.  Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, full-time student, maintain an acceptable GPA of 3.0 or a minimum ACT of 26 for entering freshmen and demonstrate a financial need in order to apply.

The Comer Scholarship is awarded for four years, and is valued at tuition. Consideration is given to Alabama residents and is based on financial need, academic record, and a commitment to Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Another award that may be granted to an incoming freshman is the Bold J. Parke Scholarship. This award is granted ONLY to Florida residents.
