You must be advised by Ms. Sims before registering for classes. An "advisor" hold prevents you from registering without being advised.

Advising is usually done during October for the following spring registration and during March for the following summer/fall registration.  An email is sent to all undergraduate students in Industrial & Systems Engineering with instructions for advising approximately a week before the advising period begins.  If you don't receive such an email, contact Ms. Sims to be added to the department's list serve.  You must be advised by either Ms. Sims or Dr. Alice Smith before being allowed to register for classes.
