Electrical Engineering (ELEC) Program Objectives

The primary goal of the ELEC Program is to produce graduates who will successfully practice electrical engineering in a broad range of endeavors.  Accomplishing this goal is demonstrated through achievement of the following Program Educational Objectives, which indicate expected achievements of ELEC graduates within a few years following graduation:

PEO#1: Graduates of the ELEC Program demonstrate technical proficiency in the practice of electrical engineering.

PEO#2: Graduates of the ELEC Program are recognized as effective communicators.

PEO#3: Graduates of the ELEC Program contribute effectively to the work of multidisciplinary teams.

PEO#4: Graduates of the ELEC Program continue to expand their knowledge and skills through scientific inquiry and learning.

PEO#5: Graduates of the ELEC Program are recognized as responsible citizens characterized by high standards of ethics and professionalism.
