3 semester credits of ELEC 7980 (Non-thesis masters project). A final project
report, written and oral, is required and serves as the final exam for the M.E.E.
degree.
No more than 3 semester credits of independent study (ELEC 7900 or equivalent).
At least one course must be taken in three of the six research areas:

Electromagnetics(63xx,73xx,83xx)
Communications(64xx,74xx,84xx, 6100,6110,6120)
Control Systems(65xx,75xx,85xx)
Power Systems(66xx,76xx,86xx)
Electronics(67xx,77xx,87xx, 6130)
A formal plan of study must be approved by the student's Advisory Committee and filed with the Graduate
