CSSE faculty members maintain active research programs and regularly publish
their work in peer-reviewed journals and rigorously refereed conference proceedings.
The high quality of the faculty's research has been recognized by peers outside
the University, as well as within the College of Engineering. Either the Junior
Faculty Research Excellence Award or the Senior Faculty Research Excellence Award
in the College of Engineering has been awarded to a CSSE faculty member each year
since 2001.
