Golf Tournaments
Civil engineering alumni and friends do a fantastic job each year of organizing
and hosting golf tournaments to raise money for the Civil Engineering Scholarship
Endowment. These tournaments provide opportunities to renew old friendships and
meet new people who have a common goal of moving Auburn's Civil Engineering program
forward by providing support for deserving students.
2009 Birmingham Area Tournament
The 13th Annual Auburn Civil Engineering Scholarship Endowment Golf Tournament
was held on August 6 at the Ballentrae Golf Club in Pelham, Alabama. Once again
the tournament was a huge success. Participants had an opportunity to see old
friends, speculate about the upcoming football season, play some golf, and carry
home some great gifts and prizes. Auburn's Department of Civil Engineering would
like to extend special thanks to the sponsors and organizers of the tournament.

2008 Birmingham Area Tournament
The tournament was held at Ballantrae Golf Club in Pelham on August 7, 2008.
There was a full field of 120 golfers registered for the tournament.
There were tons of prizes, and a few golfers came close to winning the $10,000
hole-in-one prize. Fun was had by all.

2008 Atlanta AU Civil Engineering Golf Tourney a Success
The fourth annual Atlanta area Auburn Civil Engineering Scholarships Endowment
Golf Tournament was held on May 7, 2008 at Orchard Hills Gof Club in Newnan, Ga.
More than thirty golfers participated in the fun event. Tournament organizers,
scholarship recipients, faculty and civil engineering alumni appreciate the generosity
of the players and sponsors who made this event such a success.
Next year's tournament is scheduled for Fall 2009. Watch this site for additional
