NSF logoFrom 2006 to 2013, The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at Auburn University hosts a ten-week summer research experience program for undergraduate students. The program was highly interdisciplinary and involved research in the area of micro- and nano-material science and technology. The program involves various academic departments such as Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Mechanical and Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, Polymer and Fiber Engineering, Physics, and Biosystems Engineering.
