The Department of Chemical Engineering offers proficiency exams (a progress assessment exam and a concept inventory exam) to insure student preparedness in our program.
During the academic year more than 85% of students passed the Progress Assessment I exam requirement during their first semester (within first three attempts). More than 92% passed within their first four attempts.
