Program Accreditation
The Bachelor of Chemical Engineering Program , BCHE, is accredited by Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc. (ABET) and meets the curriculum requirements specified by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
Our program was last reviewed by ABET during 2004. Our next ABET review will be during 2010.

Student Guide to Accreditation
The department has prepared a guide to help students appreciate the nature of the accreditation process and how it affects the education process. The process of accrediation entails the assessment of educational quality and the continued enhancement of educational operations through the development and validation of standards. Accreditation provides a credential to the public-at-large which attests that an institution and/or its programs have accepted and are fulfilling their commitment to educational quality.
