College of Engineering / Engineering Outreach / K-12 / Volunteer

The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering offers several outreach events throughout the school year that we would love for you to be a part of as a volunteer! As a volunteer, you will help us host a variety of groups that travel to campus for competitions, camps, etc. Our volunteers will assist with preparation for the event, the event itself and clean-up after the event. There are several outreach activities you can volunteer to be a part of including: E-Day, TEAMS, BEST Robotics, PEAK and many other programs! If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for the College of Engineering, please fill out the Qualtrics survey below. A few weeks prior to each event, we will contact you with a sign-up sheet with the detailed information (including times, meeting locations, etc.) regarding each outreach event. You will be able to select the dates/times that work best for your schedule. You will never be expected to work an entire event from start to finish. Volunteering is a great way to get involved within the College of Engineering, meet other Engineering students, encourage youth to stay involved in STEM related activities and it is a wonderful addition to put on your resume!!

If you ever have any questions or concerns regarding volunteering, contact Sydney Riley at We hope you will consider joining us in our outreach efforts! You never know the difference you may make in a student’s life through your service!
