Personal Computer Applications - Comp 1000

This is a two-credit course with two hours of instruction per week that introduces students to the fundamentals of a personal computer, including its operating systems and application packages. By the end of the course, students will be able to identify components of a computer station and distinguish between system software and application software.

Personal Computer Applications Independent Learning Course - Comp 1003

This course will enable students with the knowledge, skills and experience to navigate personal computers more effectively. Students will cover topics relating to essential computing concepts and Microsoft applications. At the conclusion of the course students will have learned how to define a local area network and distinguish between a server and a workstation, among other objectives.
