This course does not hash over the basic math you find in most survey literature, but dose go through the tried and true methods of layout. This has been done for the most common and required layouts in Heavy/Highway Construction Surveying.

The course covers Professionalism, requirements for the occupation, requirements for layout, note keeping, organization, educational requirements, formulas, azimuth, bearing and coordinate clarification, layout requirements for specific work items, key and slope stake calculations, approach slab solution for elevation problem, concrete and asphalt paving, modeling requirements, trouble shooting, claims and view of job duties.
