The Auburn Alumni Engineering Council inducted seven new members to the group during its annual spring meeting April 6-7 at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center.
Each council class is active for five years, and those inducted into the Class of 2023 were:
“We are honored to have such a distinguished and accomplished group of engineers joining our alumni council,” said Christopher B. Roberts, dean of engineering. “These alumniare an active and valued component of the College of Engineering family. They demonstrate a continuing dedication and commitment to move the college to new levels of excellence and achievement.”
During the two-day meetings, the council made presentations and met in committees to provide leadership and participation in areas such as academics, development, governmental affairs and public relations.
The council also heard from several new faculty members, including Brendan Higgins, assistant professor in biosystems engineering; Vrishank Raghav, assistant professor in aerospace engineering; David Roueche, assistant professor in civil engineering; Michael Zabala, assistant professor in mechanical engineering; Christopher Harris, assistant professor in electrical and computer engineering; and Selen Cremaschi, the B.
