Aviation industry executive speaking to engineering classes

Johnny T. Doo, president of International Vehicle Research Inc., will speak to two classes at Auburn University on Monday, Oct. 10.

He will speak to the Vehicle Technology class from noon to 12:50 p.m. and to the Business, Engineering and Leadership class from 4-4:50 p.m. Both classes will be held in 1120 Shelby Center.

Doo is a 30-year veteran of the aviation industry and has experience ranging from product development, engineering, program management, advanced technology, marketing and business development.

At International Vehicle Research, Doo is working on manned and unmanned flight vehicle technology and development. His past positions include executive vice president at Continental Motors, vice president at Diamond Aircraft, senior manager and deputy vice president at Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corp., program manager at Fairchild Aircraft and development engineer at Mooney Aircraft.
