Mike Johnson, principal consultant for Advanced Machine Reliability Resources Inc. and associate editor of Tribology and Lubrication Technology magazine, will present “Applying Modern Tribology to the Manufacturing World” on Friday, Oct. 5, at 5 p.m. in 1122 Shelby Center. His lecture is part of The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering’s Tribology and Lubrication Science Minor seminar series.
Johnson will discuss properties for lifting and supporting machine surfaces and component applications. He will also discuss practicing lubrication engineering, as well as the future of the tribology industry.
Johnson is an Auburn alumnus and has more than 25 years of experience in machine reliability improvement and tribology. As associate editor of Tribology and Lubrication Technology magazine, which is published by the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers, he has written a regular article on tribology practices for more than four years.
