The Boosting Engineering, Science and Technology (BEST) middle and high school robotics competition, whose national headquarters is at Auburn University, is holding its inaugural national championship on Friday, April 23, and Saturday, April 24, at the Dallas Convention Center in Texas. The 12 student teams that won at three BEST Regional Championships last fall, including Wetumpka High School - one of four teams to win at South's BEST Regional Championship in Auburn - will compete to become "The Best of BEST." The BEST program at Auburn University is co-directed by the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering and the College of Science and Mathematics.
