Samantha J. Roberts, a spring 2006 AU graduate, was awarded the Admiral James L. Holloway, Jr. Award from the Navy League of the United States, as the 2006 Outstanding NROTC graduate. This award names her as the top-ranked midshipman in the 2006 graduating class of 59 NROTC units in the nation and was awarded for her academic achievement, exemplary personal behavior and military aptitude while serving as a NROTC midshipman. Fulbright scholar Rula Allaf has chosen to join the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering as she pursues a doctorate in industrial and systems engineering.
