Chemical Engineering Student Receives President's Award

Carolyn Alenci a senior in chemical engineering from Melbourne, Fla., has received the 2006 President's Award for the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering.

The President's Award is given to an outstanding undergraduate student in each college who has maintained a minimum scholastic average of 3.4 over three consecutive semesters at Auburn. Students are also recognized for outstanding qualities of leadership, citizenship, character, and promise of professional ability. The winners from all 10 colleges and schools were acknowledged during an awards luncheon at the Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center on April 14.
