Letter From the Dean
The first week of February was an important one for Auburn University. It marked
the date of the 150th anniversary of Auburn University and the start of a year
long birthday celebration. The week was packed with events including a formal
ceremony marking Founder's Day, a historical tour of campus and a Birthday Bash
complete with music, displays including our War Eagle Motorsports Teams children's
games and fireworks.
The week also marked the kick-off of the University's fundraising campaign It Begins at Auburn. Over the year's I've heard many stories from alums about their years at Auburn and the pivotal role that time played in determining the course of their lives.
As an alumnus, a professor, a dean and as the father of an Auburn student, I know first hand the power of Auburn Engineering to transform lives and society. During this campaign, I encourage you to think back on your Auburn Engineering experience and the impact it had on your life, and to join us in celebrating our accomplishments.
The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering is at a crossroads, poised to advance into the ranks of the nation's elite engineering schools. I invite you to join the team of alumi, friends, faculty, staff and students working to fulfill this Vision. Please make a gift to the college today, and join these alumni and friends who have already done so to move our vision forward.

PS. We'd love to hear how the College of Engineering impacted your life.
