The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Auburn University invites applications for

  • a tenure-track assistant/associate professor in the areas of machine learning, neural networks, and artificial intelligence beginning with the Fall 2019 semester. The individual selected for this position will be expected to secure research funding, collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary research projects, and teach both undergraduate and graduate courses.   • a tenure-track assistant/associate professor in the micro/nano-electronics area beginning with the Fall 2019 semester. The individual selected for this position will be expected to contribute to the growth of the micro/nano-technology research program through the development of an externally-funded research program, collaborate with faculty on a number of interdisciplinary research projects, direct graduate students, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and be involved in service to the department and profession. The candidate will work closely with the Alabama Micro/Nano Science and Technology Center (AMNSTC) and other research centers. Auburn University has extensive laboratory facilities for micro/nano fabrication and design, including a new class 10 clean room in the Shelby Center.  (Full Announcement)
