    Additive Manufacturing of Pharmaceutical Formulations

    Project Length:

    Initially expected to be one semester.  However, continuation is possible depending on funding and student interest.


    Assist in the set up and validation of SLA printer. Design articles for prints and conduct testing on printed items.

    Work Schedule:

    Expected ~10/week or as needed will vary during course of project, Weekly meeting with mentor required..


    Prefer sophomore or junior level student.

    At least 3.2 GPA, exceptions for students with exceptional experience with CAD or additive manufacturing.

    Skill Preferences:

    Experience with CAD

    Familiarity with solid works a plus.

    Experience with additive manufacturing and design for additive manufacturing beneficial.


    Organized, self-starter, must be detail oriented, ability to work independently, must complete tasks in reasonable time frame.
