Senior Design

Biosystems Engineering students are among the best at Auburn University. Our students receive their fair share of awards, scholarships, and fellowships for outstanding academic performance.

Senior Class of 2020

The size of the department allows students to receive personal attention from faculty and staff, as well as closer interaction with professors and their work.

Our students are able to work on rewarding design projects with our most recent ones listed here.

Students are also exposed to the latest technology by working on ongoing research and outreach projects being conducted by Biosystems Engineering faculty.

There is an active student branch of our professional society, ASABE, which is the society for engineering in agricultural, food, and biological systems. This group fosters professional activities for students, such as regional and national meetings providing the oppurtunity to network and make professional connections. The society also allows students to show case their skills by competing in national design competitions.

Industry, government, and university employers frequently contact us in search of young engineers.
