Auburn Engineering’s vision is to provide the best student-centered engineering experience in America. This is being accomplished, in part, through more than $67 million in construction and major renovations.
The institutes, research centers and laboratories housed within the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering are led by dynamic faculty members who are conducting cutting-edge research that improves the quality of life and fosters economic competitiveness.
Elite universities dedicate millions in funding toward groundbreaking research. Auburn University is no exception and our research teams are tackling local and global challenges thanks to a new presidential investment initiative toward 11 groundbreaking projects designed to deliver practical, life-changing solutions. Auburn Engineering researchers are involved in almost all of the interdisciplinary projects — taking the lead on three — and accounting for $3.6 million of the $5 million total awarded.
