Faculty Workload Policy
Auburn University is in the process of developing a faculty workload policy. The objective of the policy is to assure that University resources are used effectively while equitably distributing responsibilities among the faculty. A committee chaired by Mary Boudreaux of Veterinary Medicine has begun work on the policy. Their efforts are available on the web and were discussed in the February 22, 1999 issue of the AU Report. A worksheet has been developed and is being tested beginning spring quarter, 1999. Nels Madsen is coordinating College of Engineering activities in this area.
