COE Communications and Marketing is responsible for developing the main COE Web site which includes academic and administrative areas.
Departments, units, and programs are responsible for maintaining their own official sites according to the AU Web Standards Guide. COE templates are specifically provided for this purpose. Web sites developed by academic departments, units, or programs that do not use provided templates must be approved by COE Communications and Marketing.
It is the responsibility of the designated representatives in departments, units, and programs to ensure that all information in their electronic (Web) publications is accurate, current and adheres to COE policies.
The leaders of COE Communications and Marketing and Network Services are charged with appointing the Web Standards Group, which has ongoing responsibility for establishing and approving standards and guidelines for Web development and recommending new policy items to the COE dean.
