My favorite memory of Auburn Engineering took place in June of 1960 when I graduated after having crammed four years of school into five. My second favorite memory of Auburn Engineering occurred in 1968 when I was a Captain in the USAF and Lt. Larry Benefield worked for me when we were stationed at Pleiku AB, South Viet Nam and assigned to the 819th RED HORSE Squadron. During that year I taught him just about everything he knows about Civil Engineering.
