Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE)

The organization is called the Auburn University Student Chapter of the Institute of Industrial Engineers. The purposes of the organization are to promote an increased knowledge of the profession of Industrial Engineering in the light of academic, social, and professional advancement and to promote a greater utilization at the student level of the principles and procedures of the field of Industrial Engineering. These purposes are fulfilled by sponsoring faculty and guest speakers, affiliation with professionals, and by carrying on industrial engineering projects related to Auburn University and the community.
