American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)

Founded in 1880, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers is a 120,000-member professional organization focused on technical, educational and research issues of the engineering and technology community. ASME conducts one of the world's largest technical publishing operations, holds numerous technical conferences worldwide, and offers hundreds of professional development courses each year.

ASMEThe Auburn University section of ASME is a student run organization, providing members with opportunities to grow beyond the classroom. The section has many activities throughout the academic year that are geared towards extended learning and job placement including company reps that visit our campus to meet members and talk about their companies.
